George sat down, exhausted. It had been a hard day('s night. George chuckled as his brain automatically thought of the song).But for the youngest Beatle, it had been a good day. Having a good day in the studio didn't happen anymore as of late. It was no longer fun. What first started out as living the dream became a miserable job.
But today, today was good. Everyone got along really well, there was no fighting (when had they started fighting, George wondered), and a certain Japanese bird had been absent. Therefore, in George's book, it was a really,really good day.
George looked up as he noticed Paul walking towards him. An annoyed sigh escaped his lips. What did Paul want? George hoped he wasn't about to get criticized for his guitar playing. It irritated him to no end when Paul started lecturing how to play. Just as he thought the day was going so well.
George waited for Paul's lecture on how to to play his guitar, but it never came. Instead, the bassist plopped down right beside him.
"I'm tired Georgie"
And with that being said, Paul laid his head down on George's shoulder.
At first, George raised an eyebrow at Paul's curious antic. Yet, he didn't question it. In fact, he welcomed it. How long had it been since him and Paul just relaxed, just leaned on each other? Just sat next to each other, without guitars or arguing, or taking care of dreadful Apple business. Moments like this reminded George how much Paul meant to him. How sometimes they needed no words. How all they needed was just a shoulder to lean on.

The new Mrs. Paul McCartney tiptoed quietly as she spotted a picture perfect moment. She couldn't resist the urge to photograph, as Paul looked so serene, his beautiful hazel eyes gazing to nowhere in particular. George looked like Paul's reflection, his face peaceful and content as well. Just about when Linda was going to take the picture, George smiled.

Caught on camera, Linda thought, was evidence of a wonderful friendship.

This is just a little something I whipped up.The picture really inspired me, as I think a lot of people forget about Paul and George\'s relationship, always focusing on the Lennon/McCartney duo. Paul and George were friends before Paul met John, and they hitch-hiked together as kids.Though they didn\'t get along too well after the Beatles broke up, later though they made up. Paul really loves George; if he didn\'t he wouldn\'t sing Something at his concerts. And George really loved Paul too. I just wanted to remind everyone of their friendship
